NEW ARTWORK COLLECTION BY THE DESIGNER BOYS

Mar 1, 2021 | Anoushka's Blog, Interior design and decoration

It’s that time of year again, every February Designer Boys release their fabulous new collection for the year, and every year they manage to add new and unique pieces that my clients love seeing in the designs I pull together for them.

So here are my top 5 collections, some new and some from previous years that remain and are still very popular that I love to work with.

Merimbula Collection

Many of the collections this year are hand embellished. In this collection the gold embellishment makes these pieces come alive and that’s what I love about them. It’s an abstract collection that reminds me of seascapes and landscapes. Beautiful colours for may styles and especially for a light filled room. Here are just 2 of this collection

Orrison Collection

I’ve already specified this new collection. I just love how textural it looks and almost has a 3D like feel to the artworks. These neutral earthy tones will work so well in the interiors I’m designing this year with less of a focus on grey and more focus on warmer tones like taupes, golds, and warm whites. Here are a few pieces from this gorgeous collection.

Chartres Collection

We all know that Australian natives in art, fabrics, wallpapers have gone gang busters. Well this is a take on this with a focus on the foliage and close up images of stems and interesting specimens unfurling. So unusual and absolutely perfect for calm neutral interiors.

Lovina Collection

My goodness what a fun energy these prints bring. This beach collection of paintings are absolutely fabulous, colourful, fun and so so interesting. I don’t think you have to have a coastal home for these to shine, in fact I’m thinking of ordering 2 for my place!

Naoko Collection

So serene and so peaceful. This classic Japanese bird collection is so elegant and understated but would deliver plenty of texture and impact in a calm and well balanced interior. I love the lack of colour and the focus on tone throughout these.

Please do get in touch if you would like access to any of this years collection, and I’m sure if we’re workign together some of the Designer Boys pieces will be discussed as some point during your project.

Happy decorating!
