A while back I posted about my Edecor service with some images from a project I’d been working on in Blaxland. You can see the blog post by clicking here. I’ve just completed another edecor service for a local client and wanted to share with you all the designs and finished rooms.
Edecor isn’t just for clients outside of the area that I service through my traditional face to face process. I also work with people who perhaps have less budget to spend on design fees but still require some help in pulling a space together. Or people who are happy to put a lot of the time in to the process so just need some support and a sounding board.
I recently finished a project on the lower north shore for a client who has just moved into a large family home and wasn’t sure how to use the large main living space effectively. Also when faced with larger proportioned rooms it can be daunting to know what scale of furniture to choose to make the most of the space. So we worked on the functionality of each area, and agreed on larger pieces such as a 2.6m dining table and large scale rugs to tie everything in and deliver a beautiful cohesive design.
The brief for this project was to create a modern design through use of a neutral colour palette such as warmer greys and to add in colour through lamps, artwork and cushions. Below are the electronic designs for this home along with some pictures of the finished rooms. The investment in the dining table from Jardan really made the dining area, and I just love how the cosy area around the fire is now a useful part of the living room.
