My 5 favourite living room pieces

Mar 16, 2015 | Anoushka's Blog, Interior design and decoration

Hi Guys,

I wanted to share with you some of my favourite pieces that I have sourced for clients over the past few months. I’ve chosen to share these pieces with you because I absolutely believe that they will work in any home from a style perspective, and they are both functional and beautiful.

The NEW Kensington sofa – King Furniture

This is a beautifully made sofa is classic in style and comes in many sizes including an armchair. You can choose from any of the King Furniture fabrics to work with your interior and lifestyle, and this piece is so well priced along with the quality that we King are so well known for this is a sofa not to be missed.

The Baker rug in Denim – Bayliss

Yes this pattern is still very much on trend, and I love the colouring of this rug. It also comes in a lovely grey shade if you didn’t want to introduce blues into your scheme. This is a wool flatweave rug so super hard wearing and works so many interior schemes. This is a trade supplier so please email me for pricing.

Parker Coffee table – Horgans

This is a classic piece from a trade supplier. The parquetry detailing in the timber top set on a box frame in a black powder coasted finish this look can’t fail. The timber adds texture and warmth and the shape is super contemporary.

Quercus & Co – Cushions

This is a beautiful collection of fabrics called watercolour from Quercus & Co. Adam who owns the business is a local artist who has his creations screen printed onto fabric to create these unique designs. They are upholstery weight so you could take a chair or a sofa if you’re brave enough and have them upholstered or simply use the fabric as cushions.

Table lamp – Emac & Lawton

This is a classic shape that will never date. By adding in different materials in your space through your lighting you will create another layer of interest. This will sit nicely on a side table next to an occasional chair, perfect for reading.
