Pantone have released their colour of the year and I’m pretty happy that it’s coral pink. One of my favourite colours to wear if I’m honest. When it comes to decorating in coral, in my mind it needs to be in small amounts of a more subtle shade. I’ve had accents chairs covered in coral fabrics, used coral scatter cushions, elements of coral in wallpaper patterns and plenty of coral in artworks.
I haven’t had a client brave enough to paint a whole room or even a couple of walls in a coral colour, who knows maybe with it being Pantone’s colour of the year 2019 could be the year!
