Mosman Home

I was so lucky to work on this architecturally designed home with the amazing views over the water in Mosman. My brief was to design a new kitchen and ensuite bathroom replacing the outdated joinery and fixtures without making too many changes to the existing floor plans.

It was easy to take our cues from nature in this design so that’s what we did. Working with the existing hardwood floors in the open plan kitchen space we had those refinished and selected a beautiful timber for the majority of the kitchen joinery, white was a no go as the space gets so much light it would have been too much. With this in mind I introduced a soft eucalyptus green in the side run of joinery with integrated appliances and a minimal design aesthetic. The ensuite bathroom had a similar feel in that we wanted to create a warm space with timbers, textural stones, and warm undertones to connect with the stunning views.
