To design a new kitchen, dining and pantry that opens up the space but also makes the most of the size of the room. No white joinery was to be used in the main part of the kitchen, the brief was to bring warmth and a sense of homeliness into this space, softening the polished concrete floors and neutral white walls. We also wanted to bring more light into the back part of the room.

By adding in a three-metre long backsplash window we created a better connection with the outside and more natural light internally. We moved the orientation of the island longways in the room allowing us to run joinery the full length of the room spanning seven-metres. All materials chosen were gentle and textural off-set by the matt black joinery. The kitchen features American Oak joinery, feature marble look stone benchtops and splashback, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances and high end hardware. The walk in pantry is generous in size with the same level of finishes. The rest of the room also had a refresh with new upholstery, lighting and styling.
